Having Trouble Navigating the Durioo+ App After a Recent Update?
We released a significant UI update to the Durioo+ app on Android TV and Google TV in 2025. We know some users are experiencing navigation issues as a result — and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. This article covers the known issues and the best workarounds available while our team works on a fix.
⚠️ Known issues from the 2025 UI update
Reported on Android TV / Google TV devices (Sony, TCL, Xiaomi, Realme, Sharp, Skyworth, Mi Box):
Screen cannot scroll to select language — known bug, workaround below
Fullscreen button makes video appear smaller — known bug, workaround below
Settings menu unresponsive with remote — known bug, workaround below
Login not working after the update — known bug, workaround below
General UI sluggishness / freezing — being investigated
🔧 Workaround: Can't scroll to select language or navigate menus
Use your remote's D-pad (arrow keys) to move one option at a time instead of scrolling — most of the new UI responds to D-pad navigation even when scrolling doesn't.
Press Up / Down / Left / Right to move between options
Press OK / Select to confirm
If an item is still unreachable, press Back and re-enter the screen
🔧 Workaround: Fullscreen makes the video smaller
While the video plays, press Back on your remote to exit fullscreen
Let the video return to normal size
Wait 5 seconds, then press fullscreen again
🔧 Workaround: Settings or language selector completely unresponsive
Settings → Apps → Durioo+ → Clear Cache
Restart the TV (unplug 1–2 minutes)
Reopen Durioo+ and try again
Still unresponsive? Do the full reset below

🔄 Full reset — if the workarounds don't help
A fresh reinstall clears most UI-related problems:
Settings → Apps → Durioo+ → Uninstall
Unplug your TV from power and wait 2 minutes (clears system memory fully)
Plug back in, turn on
Google Play Store → search "Durioo+" → Install
Log back in — in most cases a clean install restores normal navigation
