App Crashing or Not Working on TV — Troubleshooting Guide
If Durioo+ is crashing, showing a black screen, freezing, or won't open on your TV — your subscription and watch history are safe. Most TV issues are caused by outdated app cache, a pending software update, or a temporary system glitch. Choose your TV type in the tabs below and follow the steps in order.
Issue on a phone or tablet instead? See: App Not Opening, Black Screen, or Crashing on Phone or Tablet
Covers: Sony Bravia, TCL, Xiaomi Mi Box/Stick, Realme, Sharp, Skyworth, Chromecast with Google TV, and any Google-certified Android TV box.
Step 1 — Restart your TV and router
Unplug the TV from power → wait 1–2 minutes → plug back in. Restart your Wi-Fi router too.
Step 2 — Update Android System WebView ⭐
The single most effective fix for crashes after an app update — do this before anything else.
On your TV, open Google Play Store
Search "Android System WebView" → tap Update if available
Restart the TV after updating
Step 3 — Clear Durioo+ cache and data
Settings → Apps → See all apps → Durioo+
Select Clear Cache, then Clear Data
Restart the TV and reopen Durioo+
⚠️ Clearing data logs you out — have your registered email ready.
Step 4 — Update the Durioo+ app
Google Play Store → search "Durioo+" → Update if available.
Step 5 — Update your TV's system software
Settings → Device Preferences → About → System Update → install and restart.
💡 Older firmware can prevent newer apps from running properly.
Step 6 — Uninstall and reinstall Durioo+
Settings → Apps → Durioo+ → Uninstall
Restart the TV (unplug 1–2 minutes)
Play Store → search "Durioo+" → Install → log back in
Step 7 — Test your internet
Open YouTube or Netflix on the same TV. If they also struggle, the problem is your Wi-Fi, not Durioo+ — restart your router or move it closer.
