How Do I Update the Durioo+ App?
Keeping Durioo+ updated ensures you have the latest features, bug fixes, and security improvements. Here's how to update on each device.
Android phone or tablet
Open Google Play Store
Tap your profile icon (top right)
Tap Manage apps & device
Under "Updates available," find Durioo+ and tap Update
Enable automatic updates: Play Store → Settings → Network preferences → Auto-update apps → Over any network (or Wi-Fi only)
iPhone or iPad
Open App Store
Tap your profile icon (top right)
Scroll down to see pending updates
Find Durioo+ and tap Update
Enable automatic updates: Settings → App Store → toggle App Updates on
Android TV / Google TV / Mi Box / Mi Stick
Open Google Play Store on your TV
Search "Durioo+"
If an update is available, tap Update
Samsung Smart TV
Press Home → go to Apps
Select the Settings icon (gear, top right)
Find Durioo+ → select Update if available
Alternatively: Durioo+ updates on Samsung may be pushed automatically — check if the app version has changed after a few days
LG Smart TV
Open LG Content Store
Go to My Apps or search Durioo+
Select Update if available
Amazon Fire TV / Fire TV Stick
From the Home screen, go to Find → search "Durioo+"
If an update is available, it will show an Update button instead of Open
Roku
Roku updates apps automatically. To force a check:
Go to Settings → System → System Update → Check Now
This updates both the Roku system and installed channels including Durioo+
Why should I update?
Fixes crashes, buffering, and login issues
Adds new features (including the QR TV sign-in and new UI)
Keeps your app compatible with the latest Android and iOS versions
💡 Android TV users: Also update Android System WebView (Google Play Store → search "Android System WebView" → Update) — this is the most common fix for crashes after a Durioo+ update.
