How to Block Specific Shows?
At Durioo+, we give you the power to curate exactly what your children see. Whether you want to hide a specific series or focus your child's learning on certain topics, the Manage Channels feature is your best tool.
There are two ways to do this: the Settings Method (for bulk changes) and the Shortcut Method (while watching).
Use this if you want to search for a specific channel or manage multiple blocks at once.
📱 On Durioo+ App (Mobile Devices):
Open the Durioo+ App.
Go to Settings and Parental Controls.
Tap the Profile you wish to manage.
Tap 'Manage Channels'.
Use the search bar or scroll through the list.
Switch the toggle to gray to block the channel. It will immediately disappear from that child’s view.
💻 On Web Streaming Platform:
Log in at duriooplus.com.
Click the Settings (Gear icon).
Select the Profile you want to edit.
Click 'Manage Channels'.
Find the channel and Toggle it OFF.
💡 Why can't I find a show I blocked?
If you block a channel:
It will not appear on the Home Screen.
It will not appear in Search Results.
It will be blocked on all devices (TV, Phone, Web) for that specific profile.
To Unblock: Simply follow Method 1 and toggle the channel back to ON.
Use this if your child is currently watching a show and you decide it’s not right for them at that moment.
While the video is playing (or on the video details page), look for the Three Dots (⋮) icon on the right side of the screen.
Tap/Click the dots to open the menu.
Select 'Block this Channel'.
The channel is now blocked and the app will return to the home screen.
💡 Why can't I find a show I blocked?
If you block a channel:
It will not appear on the Home Screen.
It will not appear in Search Results.
It will be blocked on all devices (TV, Phone, Web) for that specific profile.
To Unblock: Simply follow Method 1 above and toggle the channel back to ON.
